Create and publish

Create a widget from a goal or template, configure it, and publish to a domain.

Create and publish widgets

Create

  1. Go to Widgets.
  2. Create a new widget and choose a goal (or start from a template when offered).
  3. Set basics: internal name, domain, and design / placement as prompted.
  4. Configure content fields for that goal (copy, form fields, offer details, etc.).
  5. Set triggers and display rules.
  6. Save a draft, preview when available, then Publish.

Unpublish or delete from the widget’s settings when you need to take it offline.

Draft vs published

StateBehavior
DraftEditable; not shown to visitors (except preview flows)
PublishedLive on the selected domain according to triggers and rules

Live editing

Amplixa supports editing experiences in context on your site from the dashboard (editor session). Marketing “edit on your site” refers to that flow. Creating widgets with the public API does not return an editor URL — mint editor access from the dashboard when you need on-site editing.

Interactions

Widgets can run interactions such as Present a widget (open another widget) and Navigate (same tab or new tab). Advanced / empty interaction builders may show Coming soon in the UI — only configure what the product exposes as available.
