Triggers and display
When a widget appears, on which pages and devices, and how dismissals work.
Triggers and display rules
Configured in the widget builder under trigger, display rules, devices, and dismissal sections.
Triggers
| Trigger | Behavior |
|---|---|
| On load | Shows when the page loads |
| After delay | Shows after a configured delay |
| On scroll | Shows after the visitor scrolls a configured amount |
| On click | Shows when a page element is clicked |
| On exit intent | Shows on exit-intent detection |
| On demand | Does not auto-show; opened by another interaction (for example Present a widget) |
Exact fields (delay seconds, scroll percent, CSS selector) appear in the dashboard for each trigger type.
Display rules
- All pages or URL rules (contains / exact match).
- Optional active from / active until windows.
- Devices: desktop & mobile, desktop only, or mobile only.
Placement and presentation
Depending on the goal, you can set placement (modal, slide-in, sticky bar, floating corner, etc.), opening animation, and related design options. Use the labels in the builder — they are the source of truth for that widget type.
Closing and dismissal
Common options:
- Show close button
- Close when clicking outside
- After closing: don’t remember dismissals, hide for this session, or hide for a while (duration)
Form-style widgets also support success and error messages after submit.
